Behind-the-scenes sessions for photographers
Show your clients exactly how you work
You know better than anyone how much goes into a great shoot
The way you put people at ease before you've even raised the camera
And in a world where AI makes everyone question what they’re seeing, showing yourself at work becomes an advantage rather than a nice-to-have
If your clients can’t see you, they're just taking your word for it
“As a photographer, it’s so hard to capture what you do as well as capture your client or subject matter!
Having Catherine at the session meant I didn’t have to think about setting up a second camera, using a self timer etc.
And I am delighted with the gallery of photos that Catherine shared with me afterwards.”
-Jo Fisher, Bloom Fabulous Photography
I photograph working photographers on set or on location - quietly, unobtrusively, and with a genuine understanding of what's happening in front of me
The result is a set of images and video clips that show the real you, doing what you do best, that you can use across your website, social media, and anywhere else you need to build trust with prospective clients

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Anyone who works with people (or animals!) - portrait, wedding, brand, family, headshot. If your process and personality are part of what you're selling, BTS content will work for you.
-
Not really, although you must have a client (or a model) who is happy to be featured in your images. Ideally, we’ll have a call ahead of the session (or a coffee if you’re local), and I'll ask a few questions to understand how you work and how you intend to use the final images. Beyond that, just shoot as you normally would - the less you perform for me, the better the images.
-
No. I work the same way on a photographer's set as I do on a film set - quietly, at the edges, and only where I'm not disrupting anything. Your client's experience always comes first.
-
Yes. The session fee includes a personal and commercial usage licence, allowing you to use the images on your website, social media, print materials, and in any paid advertising.
-
Clients are increasingly sceptical. AI-generated imagery has made it harder to take a portfolio at face value, and photographers who can show their real process - real shoots, real people, real moments - have a significant advantage over those who can't. Authentic BTS content isn't a nice-to-have any more. It's becoming part of how trust is established before a booking is even made.
-
Yes!
